The Isle Admin Panel and Console Commands Guide

Last updated: July 23, 2026

This guide shows you how to open the admin panel and use the essential admin console commands on your The Isle server. To effectively manage your server — especially on the Evrima branch — it's essential to understand and use these commands. The admin panel is the fastest way to moderate; console commands give you fine-grained control over players, time, and weather.

Accessing the Admin Panel

To access the admin panel in The Isle, follow these steps:

  • In-Game Access:
    1. Press the Insert key to open the admin panel directly.
    2. Alternatively, type /adminpanel into the in-game chat to access the admin panel.
  • Using Console Commands:
    1. Open the chat/command console by pressing the Enter key (default).
    2. Enter admin commands directly into the console.

Essential Admin Commands

Below is a list of essential admin commands for The Isle. Remember: only players whose Steam ID is registered as an admin can use them.

/announce [message]Broadcasts a server-wide announcement.
/kick [player name or Steam ID] [reason]Removes a player from the server.
/ban [player name or Steam ID] [hours] [reason]Temporarily bans a player for a specified duration.

Important Notes

  • Command Syntax: When entering commands, do not include the brackets. They are used here for clarity. For example, type /heal PlayerName, not /heal [player name].
  • Chat Visibility: It's advisable to enter commands in the local chat to prevent cluttering the global chat with command text.
  • Admin Rights: Ensure your Steam ID is registered as an admin on the server to access these commands. See the The Isle Admin Commands: Full List and Setup Guide to become an admin.
Tip: The full admin command list — including /kickid, /banid, /grow details, and more — is available in the Admin Commands Full List guide.
